Southwest Zone Hockey Association is once again pleased to offer our members professional skating instruction designed and led by Quantum Speed. This program represents the evolution of traditional power skating classes and is:
- Focused on individual skating SKILLS as opposed to hockey DRILLS
- A progressive program that focuses on one new skill per week
- Instructors dedicated to error detection, correction and individual feedback

Please note: due to demand, there can be no exceptions to category registration requirements. Skaters will be grouped in each session according to ability. Instructors will teach to the highest level.
The on-ice instructor’s focus is on each individual’s technique. Players progress through the program to master the components of skating techniques necessary to develop strength and speed.
Session Length: 20 weeks for Wednesday sessions, 20 weeks for Thursday sessions and 19 weeks for Friday sessions.
Dates to omit: Friday sessions will omit February 16. All sessions will be off for 2 weeks for the Christmas & New Year break, December 27, 28, 29 and January 3, 4, 5, 2023.
