Player timed evaluations

  • All players will be skate through timed evaluations
  • The drills that will be used are here
  • Initially all players will be given a chance to dry run the skills at a pre-assigned date.  Please watch the website to see when are where you player will be assigned.  The dry runs will occur between September 7, 2022 and September 14, 2022.  Please do not contact the directors with date preferences as there are too many players to organize.
  • For the actual evaluation groupings and times will be posted on this website closer to the date of the evaluation
    The drills will occur on September 18, 2022 between 8:15AM - 9:45PM
  • Timing will be done through electronic eye gates
  • The overall time ranking of each player will be used to set up the initial scrimmage groupings

Player scrimmages

  • Scrimmages will start on September 24, 2022 and will run into early October
  • Scrimmage groups and times will be posted on this website and so it is important that you check back regularly to see updates/changes (for instance everyone will have a skate time on the 24th and the 25th and the groupings may change a little)
  • Scrimmages will be clearly designated as body checking or non-body checking
Players need to be aware that any unsafe body checking will be cause for the directors to move that player to a non-body checking group
  • Players will receive at least 3 scrimmages, though some may get more due to positional need
  • Depending on goaltender final numbers, goalies will likely play in a variety of different groupings
  • All evaluations will be done by a third party
