Goalie evaluations

    • Positioning
    • Compete level/ puck stopping ability

Player timed evaluations

  • All players will be skate through timed evaluations
  • The drills that will be used are here
  • Initially all players will be given a chance to dry run the skills at a pre-assigned date.  Please watch the website to see when are where your player will be assigned.  The dry runs will occur September 8th, 2024.  Please do not contact the directors with date preferences as there are too many players to organize.
  • For the actual evaluation groupings and times will be posted on this website closer to the date of the evaluation
  • The actual evaluation will occur September 9th and 11th.
  • Timing will be done through electronic eye gates
  • The overall time ranking of each player will be used to set up the initial scrimmage groupings

Player scrimmages

  • Scrimmages will start September 13th and run until Sept 22nd.
  • Scrimmage groups and times will be posted on this website and so it is important that you check back regularly to see updates/changes
  • Scrimmages will be clearly designated as body checking or non-body checking
    • Players need to be aware that any unsafe body checking will be cause for the directors to move that player to a non-body checking group
  • Players will receive at least 3 scrimmages (most will get 4), though some may get more due to positional need
  • Depending on goaltender final numbers, goalies will likely play in a variety of different groupings
  • All evaluations will be done by a third party
